He's already housebroken and can't wait to find an active household where he’ll get plenty of exercise and attention, but he would do best with children 12 years and older. Neutered and microchipped, with up-to-date vaccinations, all this lovable dog needs is a great place to call home! Chuck would make a wonderful pet and lifelong friend, so come visit him today at the KHS main campus! Or, call (502) 366-3355 for more information.

Katie and Julia are two playful 12-week-old kittens who want to join a great family! Won't you give them a good home? Katie is a gorgeous brown tabby and Julia is a soft black and white medium-haired kitty. They're extremely affectionate and sweet, and looking for a loving home where they'll get plenty of attention. Spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations, these two adorable kittens are ready to find their forever homes (hopefully together)! Let Katie and Julia adore you! KHS Helps Animal Hurricane Victims; Hopes to Adopt Out Pets During Adopt-a-Thon
KHS and New Albany-Floyd County Animal Shelter (NAFC) team up to help the animal victims of Hurricane Katrina. The KHS-NAFC rescue team departed to Hattiesburg, MS on Wednesday, Sept. 7, to help save animals who have been displaced from their owners or abandoned as a result of the hurricane. The KHS team will return early next week with over 15 dogs and cats whose owners were rendered homeless by the storm and can no longer keep them. KHS hopes to find homes for these pets during Adopt-a-Thon.
