The Kentucky Humane Society’s Eastpoint Pet Resort offers Deluxe Guest Rooms for dogs — with comfy beds for snoozing, televisions, ceiling fans and toys— and the Purrfect Plaza for cats— complete with aquarium, natural light, live plants and "window seats," as well as Doggie Daycare and all-breed pet grooming. DOGGIE DAYCARE

The Kentucky Humane Society’s Doggie Daycare program is a fully supervised, interactive program that allows clients to drop off on their dog on the way to work or while running errands, and then pick up their pet on the way home!

Doggie Daycare is a great alternative to leaving your dog cooped up all day. Pets mingle with other dogs and people throughout the day. Plus, you won't be the only one tired by the end of the day!

We invite your to pamper your pet with our quality grooming service. Keeping in mind your pet's safety and comfort, our facility is equipped with a hydraulic grooming table and top-of-the-line step tub, especially beneficial to our elderly clients.

All grooming includes bathing, brushing, ear-cleaning and a nail trim. Additional pampering services are available, such as manicures, massage baths and more.

The KHS Pet Resorts welcomes our newest groomer, Melissa Sharp. Melissa comes to KHS with 4 years grooming experience. She is a certified PetSmartTM Grooming Academy graduate and also has previous experience as a salon manager.

She has a lot of experience with hand stripping, Soft PawsTM, and hot oil & spa treatments. Her specialties include grooming cats, chow chows, Portuguese water dogs, Irish water spaniels and Brussels griffons.

Melissa says, "I love grooming cats because I have to earn their trust. It takes a lot of extra effort, but the bond that's established is worth it!"
