Fun & Educational Camps for the Next Generation of Pet Guardians!

Let your child learn about pet guardianship while having fun! In 2011, the Kentucky Humane Society will host its 24th year of summer camp with some new twists.

The ever-popular Animal Adventure Camp, offered 8 weeks June through August, will include new activities for children ages 6 to 12. This camp is offered at our Main Campus, as well as our new East Campus location in Lyndon. Designed for young people ages 12 to 16, Animal Advocate Camp allows participants to become more involved with our shelter, while learning about animal-related careers and issues. 2011 Summer camps will begin June 13th and will be offered through August 5th.

KHS also offers a Spring Break Camp for kids -- a fun & educational opportunity for any young animal lover!
