Four-legged and two-legged fans are invited to come watch the Louisville Bats play from a special VIP (Very Important Puppy) section at Louisville Slugger Field! The Louisville Bats and Your Community Bank, once again, will host DOG DAY AT THE PARK to help raise money for needy animals at the Kentucky Humane Society. The best part -- you can bring your dog for a fun-filled evening at the ballpark!

The following letter is from a happy dog owner who attended DOG DAY AT THE PARK on June 9, 2009:

Dear Kentucky Humane Society,

I am writing to tell you all what a great time my family had at the Louisville Bats' Dog Day at the Park game last night. It was our puppy's first time being around so many other dogs, and I'm pretty sure that "Indy" thought all of the other dogs were there to see him. I have never seen a happier dog in all of my life. I wish that the Bats would put on that promotion more often.
