Make Your Dog a Good Dog!
The Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) wants to take the bite out of your dog, literally… and also stop him from chewing everything, eating anything and leaving “presents” in the house.

KHS established a comprehensive behavior training program in 2000 to help remedy one of the primary reasons why pets are surrendered to animal shelters – behavior problems. Since then, we’ve helped strengthen the bond between pets and owners through education and positive reinforcement training.
Whether it’s teaching basic obedience, resolving problem behaviors or addressing aggression, we are here to help. KHS offers a variety of classes for pets of all ages and ability levels, with classes starting throughout the year at locations across town, as well as in-home, private training.
Benefits of Behavior Training
Through education and positive training, we can help…
- Develop a better relationship between you and your pet
- Prevent common canine behaviors, like chewing and jumping, from becoming a problem
- Address “bad” behaviors like digging, house-soiling and excessive barking
- Socialize your dog with four-legged and two-legged friends
Plus, all behavior training fees benefit KHS!
