Get ready for Waggin' Trail 2012 - Saturday, June 2 at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer Park - register now !

The Kentucky Humane Society's WAGGIN’ TRAIL WALK FOR THE ANIMALS, the 18th annual pet celebration and fundraising run/walk for the animals of KHS, will be held on Saturday, June 2 at EP Tom Sawyer State Park. Whether you take a leisurely stroll or run with your fleet-footed Fido, you'll be joined by hundreds of area pet lovers on a journey to save lives and celebrate the human-animal bond.  The event will include family-friendly and pet-friendly activities, adoptable pets, behavior and agility demos, contests, vendor booths, and much more!

Check out the fabulous give-aways from our sponsor Feeders Supply at the Feeders Suppy Pet Lovers Pavilion, then stop by the Kids’ Zone for crafts and activities for the little ones.  Don’t miss the Chow WAGGIN’ for some delicious food, then win dessert in the Footworks Cake Walk for two- and four-legged participants!  The all-new Shelter Dog DNA booth will feature on-site pet DNA testing, and of course the popular Waggin’ Trail tradition of low-cost microchipping—a must for all pets to help them find their way home if lost--will continue at the 24Pet Watch Microchip booth.

Presenting sponsor Hill's Science Diet will once again host the popular "Adoption Option" pet parade, which features some very special KHS pets who are looking for forever homes. Pets in our care at KHS receive high-quality, nutritious meals of Hill's Science Diet pet food, and all KHS adopters receive a free bag of Hill's Science Diet to take home with their new best friend.  You just may find your perfect match at Waggin' Trail when you choose the adoption option!

waggintrail_couple_photo.jpgStart fundraising today!  When friends and family members sponsor your run or walk at WAGGIN' TRAIL, the funds go directly to the Kentucky Humane Society's proactive adoption, education, and spay/neuter programs.  When you ask for donations and support, saving a life truly can be a walk in the park. Every donation, large or small, will help an animal in need at KHS.

Visit our WAGGIN TRAIL website to Register Now!  Registration is $25 and includes a Waggin' Trail t-shirt.  From your personal fundraising page, you can tell your story, upload photos, email friends, accept and track donations, and monitor your progress.  2012 Waggin' Trail Printable Pledge Form
