The Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) helps reunite beloved pets with their owners every week. If you have lost or found a pet, please post a listing to our online service.  

View all strays currently at the KHS main campus. 

View all lost and found animals currently listed on the Courier-Journal.com.  

View more information about Metro Animal Services.  As the city government's animal agency, they are mandated by law to handle animal-related issues in Jefferson County, including picking up strays.

Reporting Lost/Found Pet

If You've LOST a Pet:

Report a lost pet

If You FOUND a Pet:
Check listings of lost pets
Report a found pet 

In addition to reporting a missing pet, KHS asks all individuals searching for a lost pet to contact and visit both KHS and Metro Animal Services.

All listings must be approved by KHS prior to posting. It should take no longer than 48 hours for a posting to appear online. Please note that you cannot upload any image with a file size over 600kb.

Listings are removed after 30 days. To extend the duration of your listing, call (502) 366-3355.
