What Your Attendance Supports
Proceeds from Tuxes & Tails benefit cats and dogs at the Kentucky Humane Society, a local nonprofit animal welfare agency that finds loving homes for more than 6,000 pets each year and helps the community by spaying or neutering more than 10,000 pets annually at its donor-supported S.N.I.P. Clinic. KHS saves every adoptable pet it takes in. Last year more than 90% of the pets who came through our doors found their forever homes.
The Galt House will offer special room rates and VIP ”take the elevator home” packages when you make a reservation as a Tuxes & Tails guest. Call (502) 589-5200.
About Last Year's Gala
A big thank you to everyone who came out to our biggest-ever Tuxes & Tails Gala in 2014, at the Galt House!
The evening was a huge success, with more than 350 people attending in support of the Kentucky Humane Society's mission. We couldn't have done it without all the wonderful volunteers who pitched in and without our generous sponsors and businesses and individuals who donated items to our auctions.
Petal, Saved by the Help Me Heal Fund
Learn about Petal, an amazing pug puppy who overcame severe mange thanks to donations made to our Help Me Heal Fund. Over the last year KHS was able to save more than 200 cats and dogs thanks to donations made to this fund, which pay for medical and behavior help for our most fragile pets. Donate to Help Me Heal.
