The Kentucky Humane Society Joins Best Friends Animal Society National Holiday Pet Adoption Promotion
LOUISVILLE KY — A mirth-filled holiday season is yours for the low price of saving the life of a rescued pet: a mere $25 adoption fee will give you the not-to-be missed experience of opening your heart and home to a new furry family member.
The Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) is joining national animal welfare organization Best Friends Animal Society, along with animal rescue groups and shelters across the country, in the “Bring Joy to Your World” annual animal adoption campaign.
During the month of December 2015, select dogs and cats can be adopted for just $25. Jefferson County residents also pay $9.50 to license their newly adopted animal. Animals that are part of this special with have “$25 Adoption” added to their name.
