Bring Love Home with a New Pet this February

Kentucky Humane Society Joins Best Friends Animal Society National February Pet Adoption Promotion

KHS is joining national animal welfare organization Best Friends Animal Society, along with animal rescue groups and shelters across the country, in the “Give Love” annual animal adoption campaign Feb. 1-14, 2017.

“For an adoption fee of $14 or less plus licensing fees, you can add some love to your life by bringing home a furry friend your whole family will love,” said Andrea Blair, KHS spokesperson.

In addition to the $14 adoption fee, Jefferson County residents pay for animal licensing fee ($10.50). Adopters who participate in the $14 adoption special will also receive a 20% off coupon from Skechers.

“Give Love to homeless pets this February by providing your new pet with a place and family to call their own. The Kentucky Humane Society is dedicated to bringing great families together with the pets we rescue,” said Blair. “We have loving dogs and cats, who are eager to prove how awesome rescued pets are.”

KHS is an active partner in Best Friends No More Homeless Pets® Network, which offers help and support to animal rescue groups that save lives in their communities.
