The Kentucky Humane Society's annual fundraiser Picture Your Pets with Santa will arrive with the holiday season, and we need your help. We are looking for Santas and other volunteers to make this event happen.

The Tim Faulkner Art Gallery is inviting artists of all media to submit artwork for “Paws over Portland,” an animal-themed art show benefiting the dogs, cats and horses at the Kentucky Humane Society (KHS).

Today, September 15, the Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) will participate in the Community Foundation of Louisville's Give Local Louisville Day. During this 24-hour, online "Give Day," the community is asked to donate to their favorite local charities.

Please give to the Kentucky Humane Society, our state's largest pet adoption agency and no-kill animal shelter. Make a difference for our animals by selecting KHS on the Give Local Louisville website before 11:59 p.m. on Thursday. Your donations will be supplemented through matching and prize dollars, all going to support our lifesaving mission.

Jen Foster to Perform at Headliners

On April 15, Jen Foster will be at Headliners Music Hall to perform a benefit concert for the Kentucky Humane Society in memory of friend Jennifer Day. A quarter of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Kentucky Humane Society.
