Every day dogs, cats and horses come to the Kentucky Humane Society in need of love, attention and medical care. For an ordinary dog or cat, we spend an average of $250 to spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the animal, preparing them for their forever homes. Your donations make that possible. You help animals prepare to find homes. Thank you.
Dear Friend of the Animals,
Today is our final Match Monday: On behalf of the animals, can you help us reach our goal by donating online today?
Lochmueller Group has agreed to match all gifts made online to the Kentucky Humane Society on December 17 – up to a total of $2,000. If we meet this match, we’ll have $4,000 to help the animals!
Today we share a foster's experience in her own words.
My name is Tina Dotson. I am a licensed optician and I manage the 20/20 Eye Care store in Shepherdsville, KY. I am married and have three grown children.
My husband, John, and I are volunteer fosters for the Kentucky Humane Society. I primarily foster pregnant or nursing mamas.
Eager to give back to her community, Jennifer Schoenegge joined our team of volunteers, assisting with our shelter’s unique Pet Photography Program. The primary purpose of Pet Photography is to take portraits of adoptable animals and place the images on the main website for the general public to view. These lifesaving photos contribute to many of our animal’s finding their forever homes!
