Whitney is staying in a foster home while she is up for adoption. Whitney is a gorgeous and dignified lady looking for a home to treat her like the royal queen she is. Whitney found herself at the Kentucky Humane when her previous owner could no longer care for her. Whitney was far too mature and settled in her ways to appreciate the commotion of the shelter, so we sent her to a foster home where she could relax and show us her true personality. Whitney is a sweetheart who, despite being 12 years old, is still playful and loves to bat string, ribbons, and hair ties all over the house. Whitney seems to do ok with calm dogs who understand she is a queen, but she definitely seems to prefer being the only cat in her castle. Whitney will happily spend all night cuddling with you if you'd like her to. She is also content to occupy herself and let you have your space if you'd prefer.
