Lucky you! You've come across Bo the Bear, a delightfully sweet 3-year-old tabby cat who you'll just adore. Bo came to the Kentucky Humane Society from another shelter in hopes of finding a furever home big enough to house his GIANT heart of gold. This handsome boy is currently residing over our Main Campus Adoptions office, and take his role of "purr-ector" very seriously. Whether he's "inspecting" keyboards (sitting on them) or "overseeing" daily operations (napping), Bo does it with a smile. He's an A+ employee in our books! When he's not hard at work, Bo thoroughly enjoys snuggling up while you read a good book... or watch a movie... or eat dinner... basically, Bo is happy so long as he's curled up next to you! One more thing you should know about this dashing boy is that Bo has been diagnosed with FeLV. While FeLV+ cats may have a shorter lifespan, they still deserve the chance for a happy life - Bo included. He will need to live with other FeLV+ cats, or be the only cat in his home. If you've been searching for a cat who's a definite "people purrson," Bo the Bear is the guy for you. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated, so all he's missing is you!
Fabulous FeLV+: Kitties like me have a shorter lifespan due to Feline Leukemia (FeLV), but we still deserve the chance for a happy life. Because of my FeLV status, I must be the only kitty in my home or go to a household with other FeLV-positive cats, and I cannot be let outside. I will also need an adopter who understands that I will need more frequent veterinary checkups due to my condition. If you're interested in learning more about me and FeLV, please ask my adoption counselor for details. |
