Meet Morris, a fourteen-year-old orange and white kitty looking for his retirement home. Morris came to the Kentucky Humane Society as an owner surrender. In his previous home, Morris lived with another cat for nine years, but their relationship turned sour over time. His previous owners loved Morris, but they felt he would be much happier in a home where he could be the only cat. With people, Morris is calm and quiet. He enjoys simply being in people's presence and being allowed to lay around where he pleases. During his stay here, the staff say Morris has really enjoyed volunteer visits from a little girl who reads to him. He likes being close to her and hearing a quiet voice. His previous owner said that Morris was very affectionate, would follow his owners around the house and always seem to understand if his humans were having a bad day. Morris is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. Are you the quiet and loving home Morris is looking for? Visit him today.
Morris was a featured star on our 99.7 DJX Wet Nose Wednesday segment! Because of this, he has an adoption fee of $9.97 and his adopters get a free photoshoot with Morris at Studio 351 after adoption.
I came to the Kentucky Humane Society because my owner could no longer care for me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give
