Who's sweet, chunky, and full of spots like a chocolate chip cookie? Our gorgeous boy Carter! Carter is a one-year-old American Bulldog/Catahoula Leopard dog mix who weighs almost 70 pounds and arrived at the Kentucky Humane Society when his owners could no longer care for him. Now he's ready for a true forever home! Just like your favorite cookie, Carter is the best part of anyone's day. He is best described as an energetic, goofy guy who would do great with an active family who is interested in taking him for long walks and playing a good game of fetch. He has been in playgroups with other dogs while at the shelter and has done really well with dogs who like a good rough-and-tumble play style. He would need to meet any potential dog friends to make sure they can be best buddies before going home. Carter hasn't had much experience with cat friends and may do best in a home without cats around. He appears house-trained, loves car rides, loves dog toys, knows some basic commands (like sit and shake), and has done well meeting children of all ages. Could you be the one for this adorable spotted prince? If so, come meet him today! Carter is neutered, micro-chipped, and is up-to-date on vaccinations.
