Are you a fan of dorky hounds? Well, this boy is as silly as they come! MacCoy arrived to the Kentucky Humane Society when a rural shelter ran out of space. Ever since he arrived, he's been a living comedy of errors. He is a dorky hound of some sort and weighs 50 pounds. Like a typical hound dog, he proves too fixated on cats and would need to be in a home without felines or other small animals. At just a year old, MacCoy still had the mind and manners of a puppy. Things like housetraining, jumping, and chewing are things he's still working on. He's extremely affectionate and social...too much so at times! His family should be super patient and positive as he's learning his way around the world. In return, he promises to be a goofy best friend for life! Could he be the one for you? MacCoy is neutered, microchipped, an up-to-date on his shots! He has not met dogs or children yet.
I came to the Kentucky Humane Society from another shelter. The staff are still learning all about me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give.
