Say hello to this 14-pound cutie! Dory came to the Kentucky Humane Society from an overcrowded shelter. We think she is about eight years old and a Miniature Poodle mix. Despite her age, she seems upbeat. But like all shelter animals, she will need time and patience as she decompresses in her new home. She was adopted and promptly abandoned in a crate outside in the sun. Dory is a patient, older gal who is full of love and likes to take her time in new situations; she just asks the same of her new family. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her shots. We have not seen how she interacts with cats since she is so new. She met a calm, small dog and did well; her older attitude may not be suited for younger kids, to it's best to bring them in to meet her. To check if she's still available, go to kyhumane.org/dogs or visit Dory in-person!
I came to the Kentucky Humane Society from another shelter. The staff are still learning all about me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give.
