Excuse me, pardon me. You don't happen to know where the area for dashing, adoptable bachelors is, do you? Oh, you're searching for a handsome dog to join your life? Well, well, well, I daresay this is fate! You see, my name is Gentleman, and I'm a distinguished three-year-old on a quest to find my best friend. I started my journey at the Kentucky Humane Society as an underfed Labrador Retriever/Pointer mix - quite a gawky sprout, I must say! I was adopted and had a splendid time! I met dogs, chased cats (although I heard that is not very gentleman-ly of me to do), and enjoyed walks with my humans. However, not every dog adored my company...and one canine voiced their displeasure by attacking me! I'm just as shocked as you are. How anyone could take offense with my poised expression and well-bred upbringing is beyond me. I now insist on meeting any potential dog companions to ensure we are on the same page without any prior disagreements. As far as those undignified creatures humans call "cats," I cannot reach a compromise with them and refuse to be housed with those uncultured animals. I have never met a child but would be open to an introduction if you would like to bring your little human to say hello! Like any proper gentleman, I maintain great order in my life. As such, I appear housetrained and walk well on a leash (most of the time). I'm also neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on my vaccinations. All I'm missing is someone to enjoy life with me!
I came to the Kentucky Humane Society from another shelter. The staff are still learning all about me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give.
