Excuse me, dear. Scooch away please! That's better. This patch of grass looks JUST right, and I need as much room as possible to plop for a belly rub! The name's Cleo - short for the famous queen, of course! In human years, I'm in about 50 and just as distinguished, regal, and refined. But I must admit: I can't resist rolling down grassy hills sometimes! It's just so much fun! You may think I'm a jumbo, 60-pound Boston Terrier - but these bug eyes and toad-shaped body are due to my likely American Pit Bull Terrier heritage! You also might be wondering how a lovely gal like me is looking for a new family. My owner loved me so much! But they had to move and couldn't find a place that would allow a "large pitty breed" - whatever that means. I was the queen of the castle in my previous family and never saw other subjects...uh, I mean..."animals." If you have a canine at home, please bring them for an introduction so I can make their acquaintance and deem them worthy (or unworthy) for the privilege of my company. A queen has standards, after all! If you have small humans, though, I extend my sincerest invitation for a game of tug with my favorite rope toy! I'm currently staying at this unusual hotel named the Kentucky Humane Society and keep my room extremely tidy due to my potty habits. But between all these barking dogs and so many human visitors staring into my room (um, hello - privacy?), I'm feeling a bit pupset. And don't get me started on the room service or snack selection! No fresh salmon? No handmade dinners? Only FIFTEEN belly rubs per day? I'm sorely looking forward to moving into a new home where I can have the luxuries I (obviously) deserve. Is your life ready for a quiet queenly companion? I'm spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on my shots.

I came to the Kentucky Humane Society because my owner could no longer care for me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give.

Pick Your Price:
I am on the Pick Your Price adoption special! I am on promotion because I have been available a bit longer than the other pets at KHS, and am ready to find my forever home. When you choose to adopt me, you can choose the adoption fee that you would like to pay. I am spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on my vaccinations. Jefferson County residents will need to pay a $10.50 licensing fee and donations are gratefully appreciated!
