|Stanley (Flood Rescue) (Main Campus)|
Stanley is about one years old and weighs 65 pounds. He came to the Kentucky Humane Society from an overcrowded shelter in a flood-affected area of southeastern Kentucky. Stanley looks like a Hound, sounds like a Hound, and moves like a Hound. If there's a scent to be had or a bark to be made, Stanley is the star! He is playful around other dogs but (unsurprisingly) adores chasing cats and small animals. For everyone's safety, he cannot go home with small animals or critters (ferrets, birds, rabbits, cats, etc.). But he loves playing and jumping with kids! Stanley appears to not have spent a lot of time indoors and needs (secure) access to the outdoors. Things like housetraining and using an "indoor voice" are still very new to him. But with his love for snuggles and exploring, he's sure to find a buddy in no time! He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his shots.
I came to the Kentucky Humane Society from another shelter. The staff are still learning all about me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give.
