Hi! I'm An-SQUIRREL. Oh, sorry. I'm very easily distracted. My name is Anchor! I'm a super sweet 1-year-old Pit Bull mix (and my DNA test says I have some Staffordshire Terrier and Boxer in me, too!). I came to the Kentucky Humane Society because my owner could no longer care for me. My previous family loved me very much, and they trained me very well. I know 4-on-the-floor, sit, paw. You name it, I know it! If I don't know it yet, I'm eager to learn. The reason I came to the shelter is because I wasn't getting along with the cat in my home. I'm a toy fanatic and cats just look too much like toys. It's very confusing for me! Because of this, I would do best in a cat-free, toy-filled home! I love carrying around plastic baby keys, tennis balls, and even random sticks I find in the yard. Anything can be a toy when you have a big imagination like me! I don't have a lot of experience with canine friends, so I'd love to meet any potential dog siblings before an adoption. I am very high energy and love to play, so I would prefer a home with an active family and a big backyard! Did I mention I'm crate trained AND potty trained? I told you I'm super smart! I came to the Kentucky Humane Society from another shelter. The staff are still learning all about me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give.
