Brutus is staying in a foster home while he is up for adoption. Introducing, Brutus! This sweet Boxer is four years old and came to the Kentucky Humane Society when his owner could no longer care for him. Upon arrival, Brutus had a bit of a hard time adjusting to shelter life, so we sent him to a loving foster home to relax and unwind while waiting for his new paw-rents to fall in love with him. His fosters have told us that Brutus is sweet, silly and gentle! He loves playing or going for walks outside then finding a good spot to take a nice long nap in while you cook, do chores, or go about your day. Brutus has met other dogs and seems to do well, but he would like to meet any new dog siblings before going home, just to be sure everyone can be besties. We are unsure how he feels about cats. Brutus is also special as he does have some skin allergies that he is currently on a special diet for. If you are looking for a sweet, wonderful dog to love for the rest of your days, apply to meet Brutus today! He is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. All he needs is you!
