Say hello to the charming, stoic, downright dapper Porkchop! With a name like Porkchop, you can't go wrong assuming this dude is "big head, no thoughts!" But when you read his breed mix is "Coonhound," what else would you expect?! 62-pound Porkchop has gotten along well with other dogs and children. He gallops like a horse and has endless amounts of floppy skin! He's making strides with housetraining and occasionally bays to let you know how he's feeling. Gotta keep those vocal chords in check, right? Like most hounds, Porkchop is athletic and follows his nose...sometimes by soaring over the nearest obstacle (like, say, a fence). We aren't harping on Porkchop because that's quite a feat! But he does need to be supervised when outside so he doesn't get himself into a bigger adventure than he bargained for! Porkchop would be an ideal companion for someone who enjoys spending time to spend outside and/or has a fence that's six feet or taller. His moderate energy level doesn't rule out apartment or indoor living as long as he gets some solid outdoor enrichment. Porkchop is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his shots. If you're looking for a companion who's clumsy AND regal, come visit Porkchop!
I came to the Kentucky Humane Society because my owner could no longer care for me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give.
