|The Professor (Adoption Ambassador)|
Meet the handsome Professor! The Professor is a super sweet, laid back kind of guy. This ten-year-old cutie came to the Kentucky Humane Society from an overcrowded shelter and is ready for the good life. When he arrived at KHS, the Professor was in rough shape and needs lots of TLC. To help him out, we sent him to live in a foster home while he waits for his forever home to come along. His foster parents say the Professor is wonderful! He loves laying around on soft doggie beds with blankets, but he also loves playing fetch with his little tennis ball! He carries his ball with him most of the day and sometimes even on walks. He's great with other dogs, kids and car rides. He's a wonderful little companion that is never in your face but just wants to be at your feet or sitting near you. He sleeps so well at night that most mornings he has to be woken up for his walk! If you're looking for a sweet senior to fill your days with happiness, you need the Professor! The Professor is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations.
The Professor is a member of our adoption ambassador program. As part of our ambassador program, some of our feline and canine friends have the opportunity to live in foster homes. This allows our staff to learn more about each animal's individual personality and needs, while they are in a more comfortable living space, outside of the shelter setting. The goal of the Adoption Ambassador program is for these foster animals to be adopted directly from their foster home.
If you are interested in meeting The Professor, please first submit an adoption application to our foster team by emailing [email protected] Once we have received your adoption application, our team will provide you with more information.
I came to the Kentucky Humane Society from another shelter. The staff are still learning all about me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give.
