|Rocky (East Campus)($100 Adoption Fee)|
Introducing Rocky the Cane Corso mix! This 82-pound, one-year-old hunk of love came to the Kentucky Humane Society when his owner could no longer care for him. Rocky is a big boy who loves to romp around and play while taking his time warming up to strangers. His previous family says that Rocky is housetrained and a total sweetheart once he adjusts. He isn't a fan of cats but loves his human buddies! Rocky has a history of minor resource guarding with treats and toys, but we will provide his adopters a training plan to help him integrate into his new home successfully. He also went through some behavior training her at KHS for his shyness and has made plenty of new friends! Rocky has not lived with other dogs before so he would need to meet any resident dogs before going home to make sure everyone can be pals. Because of his shyness and resource guarding, any children in the home need to be over 10 years of age. We highly recommend bringing everyone in the family to meet him. Rocky is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on his shots. All he's missing is you! Schedule an adoption appointment online at kyuhmane.org/dogs!
I came to the Kentucky Humane Society because my owner could no longer care for me. I miss being in a home and have a lot of love to give.
Dog of the Day:
In October, Neil Huffman Subaru and Subaru of America are donating $100 toward the adoption fees of select dogs at the Kentucky Humane Society in honor of Subaru's "loves pets" month. One dog a day will be chosen to be added to this special. Because of this, Rocky's adoption fee is $100 in October. Adopters in Jefferson County are responsible for $10.50 licensing, and donations are gratefully accepted!
