Joey is an American Saddlebred gelding who is working on building back his topline at the moment as he is coming back into regular work. Joey is a soft hearted, occasionally anxious, intelligent and rewarding horse to work with. He loves doing groundwork exercises and natural horsemanship work. Joey has had several experiences with the show world and it no longer serves him or his best interests, he needs room to adventure and learn as he does not do well when asked to fit into a box or ideal. He's a horse that loves to think things through, loves working through new experiences, and building a working relationship with the people who see him for who he is and who he can be. He's an amazing horse and will soon be looking for an adopter who will make him their partner. Joey is going to be fostered by a fantastic home with hopes that he may be a horse for them, so we will accept questions from interested potential adopters and are more than happy to accept and process adoption applications in case his foster decides he isn't the right horse for her.
