ADOPTABLE - Scat Gamble - Scat Gamble is a beautiful mare by the same sire as the great Thoroughbred Justify. She came to us with a horrible abscess on a hind foot that blew out the coronet band and has taken its precious time to grow down and out of the hoof wall. She experienced some discomfort and tension in her hind end but all seemed to be repercussions of the original whopper abscess since we've had her vetted and only the hoof blowout seemed to be the root of most her issues, our farrier seemed to agree as well. She has been polite to tack up, mount, and ride around our arena at a walk and trot. She is adoptable now but would do best with someone who will give her time to make sure her hooves and body are sorted out (ie: not throw her into a strenuous exercise schedule without acclimating her back to regular work kindly). Scat Gamble is up to date on Coggins, dental, farrier, vaccinations, deworming and has seen a chiropractor. She is currently in front shoes for support, but nothing fancy. She is great for someone with experience and plodded around under saddle like an old pro but because she can occasionally be "hot" on the ground in anxious situations she may be best with a handler with Thoroughbred or off-track horse experience.
