Ruby Rocky is an aged 14.1h Rocky Mountain mare (no papers). She has been well loved and is now ready to go to a new family. Ruby arrived a chunky gal, and has some mild COPD that doesn't seem to be holding her back at all. Ruby is a kind mare to groom and tack up, and rides well for someone with average horse experience. She does like to gait, so may not be best suited for a complete beginner or small child who may not appreciate doing more than a walk. Ruby has sustained some sort of injury to one of her back pasterns, but it seems to be calcified and not currently causing her any issues or pain in moving out under saddle. She will happily gait around for her rider. She came with shoes intended for riding on pavement, but we have pulled them and she is now living barefoot on our track pasture.
