Monty is a sweet guy with a laidback attitude who will have you scratching your head to figure how he's such a cool cucumber at only 3 years old. His racetrack connections reported him to be a quiet, easygoing horse who should be easy to fall in love with. He raced and then was successfully, fully rehabbed from a non-displaced slab fracture. It has completely healed and he has been cleared to go back to work, so his connections have thoughtfully decided to let him find a second career. Monty has a nice, relaxed walk and jog. He has been learning to roll into a relaxed easy canter and leave the racing workout days behind.
Monty is RRP Thoroughbred Makeover eligible with just a handful of rides since entering training with Metcalfe Equine in Wilmore, KY. He reportedly stands at 15.3 hands and one half inch.
