Kovu is a coming yearling gelding with a curious mind and a bright future. Kovu came to KHS from another organization who brought a load of feral horses from Texas. Though past traditional weaning age he was still nursing off his snorty and flighty mother Kira. Many of the horses in the herd were said to be draft/mustang crosses but were once pulled by Iberian Horse Rescue after rumor of some possible Andalusian influence. While we can't be sure of his breed Kovu appears to be quite a lovely mover and a good sized colt. He has been started on handling and is very curious but will need schooling on all the basics from the ground up. Will he be someone's eventer or dressage horse someday? We think so!
