Summer Camp FAQs
How will I know that my registration is complete?
You will receive an e-mail confirmation, sent to the address you provided on the registration form. Please review this confirmation for accuracy and contact us as soon as possible if you notice any errors. Please check your junk mail filter, as confirmations are sometimes delivered there by mistake.
Can I register my child for more than one week of camp?
Absolutely! We have many campers who come for several weeks out of the summer. However, please note that in order to run our camps efficiently, the same schedule is followed from week to week.
What is your cancellation policy?
Before you cancel, we will be happy to move your child to a different week of camp, if available. Refund requests are only granted for cancellations made 7 days prior to the first day of camp and are subject to a $25 processing fee. There will be no refunds once camp has begun.<
My child would like to attend camp with a friend. Will they always be grouped together?
Yes. There is a place on the registration form to include the name of your child’s friend. They will be grouped together for all activities.
Will my child be working directly with shelter animals?
Each day at camp includes at least two sessions where kids are interacting with shelter animals, but that’s only one part of the camp experience! Our camp includes lots of other animal-related activities, like special guest speakers, animal-themed crafts, games, videos and interactive presentations. At our Lifelong Friends camp, participants will help train adoptable animals.
What should my child bring to camp?
We ask that all campers bring a labeled water bottle, a snack and sack lunch. Children are encouraged to bring photos of their pet(s) for our show-and-tell session. Please keep cell phones, MP3 players, video games and cameras at home. We are not liable for any items that are lost, broken or stolen.
