Prince and Queenie Update

UPDATE: Prince, Queenie and their kittens who were found abandoned in containers last week on KHS property are all doing well. The three older kittens who were found with Prince were determined to be around four months of age and have been named Licorice, Thorne and Salem. After receiving a clean bill of health from our veterinarian, all three kittens have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.

Licorice is now at our Fern Creek Feeders Supply adoption center waiting for a loving home, and her two siblings will also be available for adoption later this week. The kitten’s father, Prince, has also received a clean bill of health and will be looking for a forever home later this week at one of the Kentucky Humane Society’s ten adoption centers.

Queenie’s six younger kittens are only about one month old and have been named Raven, Spook, Hollyhock, Ink, Mischief and Vader. The family is currently in foster care where they will remain until the kittens are old enough to be weaned from Queenie. After foster care, the six kittens will be spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated and then will be looking for their forever homes.
