Seven Sick Siblings in Need of Urgent Care

Updated 3/19/24

This week, we took in seven adorable, but very sick German Shepherd puppies: Ari, Arden, Finley, Rowan, Blythe, Hayden and Lennox. These tiny eight-week-old puppies, weighing about three pounds each, tested positive for Coccidia, a life-threatening intestinal infection that causes extreme lethargy, diarrhea and the inability to eat or drink. As soon as they arrived at KHS, we jumped into action to save their lives.

Our team is doing everything we can to provide these brave babies with the medical care, love and comfort they desperately need as they fight for their lives. You can stand by Ari, Arden, Finley, Rowan, Hayden and Lennox by donating in their honor to help provide more lifesaving care for animals like them. Together, we can give every animal who comes through our doors the fighting chance they deserve.

German Shepherd Puppy Update

e are devastated to share that, despite our best efforts, little Finley lost his fight this weekend. Our team worked tirelessly to save him, but the Coccidia’s toll was too severe on his tiny, three-pound body. Finley’s siblings and our entire team are grieving this precious life gone far too soon. The fight continues for Hayden, Lennox, Blythe, Ari, Arden, and Rowan. They are showing encouraging signs of improvement, and we are hopeful that with a little more time, care and love, they will fully recover.
