June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month: what better way to celebrate than to adopt a kitty who has been overlooked!
June 1-10, 2018, cats who have tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) can be adopted for just $5 (plus $10.50 licensing fees for Jefferson County residents). All cats at the Kentucky Humane Society are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. FIV may sound scary, but it’s really not! With proper nutrition and veterinary care, FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy lives. FIV-positive cats should be the only felines in their homes or live with other FIV-positive cats.
