We are open for adoptions seven days a week with no appointments required. Visit adoptable animals 11am-5:30pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11am-7pm Thursdays, and 11am-4:30pm Saturdays and Sundays. Adoption applications are processed until 30 minutes before closing.

Join us Thursday evenings for KHS Happy Hour at our Main Campus, 241 Steedly Drive! Starting July 6, the Kentucky Humane Society’s Main Campus will be open until 7 p.m. every Thursday to give adopters more time to adopt their next furry family member. Stop by to meet all of our amazing adoptable cats and dogs, and leave with your new four-legged best friend!
