We Can Hold an Animal for You!
Unless there is an adoption special involving the pet, a hold may be placed on a cat or dog with a $25 hold fee, paid by credit card, cash or check. The hold is valid until the close of the following business day. This $25 hold fee is in addition to the pet’s adoption fee and is nonrefundable, even if the adopter decides not to adopt. Holds may only be placed in person while the adoption locations are open.
30 Days of Pet Health Insurance
Did you know that every Kentucky Humane Society adoptable dog and cat comes with 30 days of health insurance through MetLife Pet Insurance? Ask an adoption counselor for details.
