An adult dog has already mastered the art of being a fantastic furry friend! Past their puppy stage, they may know basic cues and are often already potty trained, making the transition to your home smooth and enjoyable. With years of love and experience to share, they are ready to become your loyal companion and bring joy, laughter and unconditional love to your family. All dogs adopted from KHS are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
Has done great with the other dogs in his foster home and has lived well with cats in his previous home. Crated trained. He can be timid with new people at first, but per his foster mom: "He has the sweetest eyes and personality! Once he warms up to you he totally melts your heart. He will lay his head on your chest while you pet him and follow you around the home as your personal buddy." Baxter is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting and potentially adopting him, please complete the online interest form at kyhumane.org/adoption-interest-form. Completing this form doesn't put Baxter on hold or guarantee adoption. |
