An adult dog has already mastered the art of being a fantastic furry friend! Past their puppy stage, they may know basic cues and are often already potty trained, making the transition to your home smooth and enjoyable. With years of love and experience to share, they are ready to become your loyal companion and bring joy, laughter and unconditional love to your family. All dogs adopted from KHS are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
Sir Zeus is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting and potentially adopting him, please complete the online interest form at kyhumane.org/adoption-interest-form. Completing this form doesn't put him on hold or guarantee adoption. Praise from his foster momma: We say "good boy" so often that he's probably convinced it's his actual name - and honestly, he deserves every bit of the praise! This big sweetheart is the perfect family companion. He's a professional sofa snuggler, loves a good belly rub, and gives you the happiest welcome when you come home. Wherever you go, he'll be your shadow, quietly keeping you company in whatever room you happen to be in. He's a wonderfully chilled-out boy who loves his squeaky toys and absolutely lights up when he sees his lead come out. Walks are a favorite, he's great on the lead, and he's more than happy to join you for a long adventure at the park. Three miles? No problem! He's also a star in the car, takes stairs like a pro, and sleeps peacefully through the night in his crate. Basically, he's got the cuddles, the manners and the laid-back personality that make a house feel like home. Now all he needs is a family of his own to love him forever. |
