Join the Kentucky Humane Society Equine CARE family on Saturday, July 29th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a Picnic with the Ponies at our Willow Hope Farm in Simpsonville, KY. Our 42-acre farm is home to about 30 horses at any given time, and you will get a firsthand look at the equines in our care while also learning about our equine program. We will offer equine demonstrations, fun family activities, a tour of the farm and, of course, provide a spot to have a picnic with food from the Richouse BBQ food truck! Bring your favorite family picnic food, blankets, and chairs to enjoy lunch under the trees or in the sunshine. Drinks will be provided. No alcoholic beverage is permitted. No sandals or flip flops, closed-toed shoes only.
Entry for the event is $35 per family or $15 per individual. Parking is limited, so carpooling is appreciated. Guests will be divided into two groups for a more personal one-on-one experience. Register below!
