As part of our vision to build a new Animal & Community Campus to better serve the animals and people of Kentucky, our East Campus – located at 1000 Lyndon Lane in Louisville – will close to the public on Sunday, July 26, 2026.
For nearly two decades, East Campus has created lifelong memories for adopters bringing home new family members and for volunteers who selflessly served the animals in our care. 
There’s nothing we’d like more than to celebrate with you, the adopters and volunteers who have compassionately shown up for our shelter pets and staff over the years!

Join us on Monday, July 20 from 5-7 p.m. at 1000 Lyndon Lane for a final “goodbye” to our East Campus. You’ll get to enjoy light refreshments, learn about our vision for the future and swap stories of happily-ever-afters with fellow adopters and volunteers alike. 
And if you’re able, our furry friends would appreciate you bringing them some much-needed supplies like wet kitten food and soft dog treats!
