Help save animals all year long by becoming a monthly donor, or what we call, a Constant Companion! Donating monthly is an easy and convenient way to provide reliable support to our animals throughout the year. Giving an honor or memorial gift is a meaningful way to recognize a loved one – two-legged or four-legged. Your gift is not only a tribute to someone special in your life, but it helps the Kentucky Humane Society continue serving thousands of homeless cats and dogs in our community. You can honor a loved one by:
• Asking for donations in memory of a pet or loved one; in lieu of holiday or birthday gifts; etc
• Ordering a dedication paver: Celebrate your memories and loved ones by making them a permanent part of KHS. These attractive, engraved bricks are laid in our Garden of Lifelong Friends at the KHS Sam Swope Pet Treatment & Lifesaving Center on Steedly Drive.

While you’re shopping, you can support KHS! Check out a few of the ways to support animals while you shop:
• Kroger Community Rewards Program: While you’re out grocery shopping, you can give back to KHS! Register your Kroger Plus Rewards Card at krogercommunityrewards.com. Simply choose the Kentucky Humane Society as your charity, and with each purchase, Kroger will donate a percentage to help shelter pets.
• Hill’s Shelter Donation Program: Hill’s will donate $1 on every order (including subscriptions) when you shop at https://shop.hillspet.com/shelter-donation-program and select KHS as the shelter they would like the donation to go to. Customers can also add a personal donation of $1, $3, $5 or $10 to the shelter of their choice, at checkout.
• Kentucky Humane Society Pawtique: Shop our apparel line (for humans and pets) and support animals while you do. Visit https://khs-pawtique.myshopify.com/ to update your wardrobe and support our shelter animals.
• Amazon Wish List: Send much-needed items directly to our shelter. We have a Wish List on Amazon! Order online, and Amazon will ship the supplies directly to KHS.
• Chewy Wish List: Send much-needed items directly to our shelter. Help our animals in need by shopping our Wish List on Chewy to donate much-needed pet food and supplies directly to our organization.
Become a Lifelong Friend by including KHS in your will. The decision to include KHS in your will or estate plans shows a sincere commitment to the future care of pets in our community and a desire for your legacy of compassion to continue for years to come. Pet Guardianship Program: One of the most loving things we can do for our animals is to make arrangements for their well-being when we are no longer able to provide care. Planning for life’s uncertainties will bring you peace of mind for your animal(s) future. With a gift in your will of any size, KHS can enroll your dog or cat in our Pet Guardianship Program.
Equine Guardianship Program: The Equine Guardianship Program, also a benefit for members of KHS’ Lifelong Friends Society, allows you to designate KHS as a temporary guardian for any of your equine(s) who may outlive you. KHS will provide care until a suitable and loving home can be found. Click here to learn more.
