Say hello to Baby! This kitty is a beautiful teenaged feline looking for placement as a Working Cat! Baby isn't a fan of being handled as much as an indoor cat would be expected to enjoy. This level of discomfort leads us to look for a "working cat" home for her. Working cats live primarily outdoors but do require protection from weather and the elements as well as routine animal care from their family. A cat's presence often discourages the presence of unwanted pests like rodents as well. Although working cats may not be as engaging or social as a "typical" pet feline, they can still become meaningful members of the family after their adjustment period! Baby has lived with another cat and would likely do well among other cats. WE do not know how she interacts with livestock, children, or dogs. She is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. For information about working cats and to apply to adopt one, visit the following URL: www.kyhumane.org/adopt/working-cats.

Sponsor A Pet

We need your help to care for the thousands of dogs, cats, and horses we take in each year. The Kentucky Humane Society saves every adoptable animal and provides them with food, shelter, spay/neuter surgeries, medical and behavioral assistance, and then finds them loving homes. Your sponsorship of a special animal will help us save more lives! In addition, you can choose to Sponsor an Animal in honor of a loved one (two-legged or four-legged).

For a sponsorship of $250 or more for a dog or cat – or $500 or more for a horse – you will receive a photo and information about your special animal.
