An adult dog has already mastered the art of being a fantastic furry friend! Past their puppy stage, they may know basic cues and are often already potty trained, making the transition to your home smooth and enjoyable. With years of love and experience to share, they are ready to become your loyal companion and bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love to your family. All dogs adopted from KHS are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Zelda is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves fetch, tug toys, and settling in for couch snuggles. In foster care, she was described as well-mannered, playful, and very loving once she felt comfortable. Zelda can be nervous in some new situations and may need slower introductions with new people and dogs. Zelda did okay with foster cats, but slow introductions are recommended. A meet-and-greet is required for any resident dogs, and she is recommended for a home with children 12 and older.
