Giving Tuesday Success!

On Tuesday, November 30 the Kentucky Humane Society celebrated Giving Tuesday and it was an incredible day thanks to our amazing supporters! We set out with a goal to raise $25,000, enough funds to prepare 100 animals for adoption, as it takes $250 or more to provide each animal with food, medical care and a warm place to stay until they find their forever home. We’re so happy to announce that we exceeded our goal by quite a bit and raised enough funds to help prepare 276 animals for adoption!

We want to say thank you so much to every single person who gave during this 24 hour day of giving! Your support means the absolute world to us and we are so grateful to have such caring and compassionate friends supporting our animals.

We also want to say a big thank you to our friends at Petco Love for matching donations to the Kentucky Humane Society up to $35,000 this holiday season and to the anonymous donor who matched donations to KHS on Giving Tuesday up to $15,000!
