KENTUCKY HUMANE SOCIETY’S WAGGIN’ TRAIL FESTIVAL FOR THE ANIMALS THIS SUNDAY AT LOUISVILLE SLUGGER FIELD
Dog-Friendly Family Event Features Regional Vendors & Adoptable Animals, Benefits Kentucky Humane Society
WHAT:
The Kentucky Humane Society’s 28th annual Waggin’ Trail Festival for the Animals will take place this Sunday at Louisville Slugger Field. This dog-friendly event will include activities for the whole family, adoptable dogs, interesting vendors, and delicious food and drink. So bring your four-legged friends and join hundreds of fellow animal lovers to support KHS’ lifesaving programs.
Pup and family-friendly activities will include a Dog Tattoo Parlor! You read that right. You can get a temporary tattoo for your pup! The kids will enjoy trying mock spay/neuter surgeries and learning what heartworms look like. Before meeting adoptable animals, the whole family can tour KHS’ mobile veterinary clinic to see how we make a positive impact on animals across Kentucky. Of course, the day won’t be complete without a visit to the Puppy Pavilion to – you guessed it – cuddle puppies!
