Abandoned Puppies Need Your Help
Pinky and Brain were found abandoned in our parking lot. They’re covered in demodectic mange, which has left them swollen, riddled with hair loss and extremely itchy. There’s no telling how long these poor babies have been on their own.
Pinky’s case is the most worrisome. His little face is raw and inflamed from constant scratching, and skin infections are causing extreme inflammation in his face and legs. Both Pinky and Brain are receiving daily rounds of antibiotics and anti-inflammatories to manage their discomfort, and have been prescribed frequent medicated baths to further aid their skin as it recovers. It may take Pinky a bit longer to recover, but with Brain by his side, they’ll soon be ready “to take over the world.”
These two are about to head to a foster home so they can safely heal away from the stress of shelter life, while still leaning on each other for moral support. We will keep you posted on their progress but in the meantime, please donate in Pinky and Brain’s honor so we can welcome our community’s sickest animals when they need us most.
