Puppy With Broken Leg Starting to Heal
Remember Woody? This 2-month-old pup came to our Sam Swope Pet Treatment & Lifesaving Center a few weeks ago with a broken leg. Our vet team splinted her leg and provided her with medication before sending her off to foster, where she’s been on crate rest.
We are happy to share that Woody has made great progress! Her foster brought her in for a check-up, and our vet team performed another x-ray and saw some improvements to her leg. After re-splinting her leg, Woody returned to her foster home where she will continue to take it easy and get lots of love and rest for the next two weeks.
Woody’s healing journey is far from over. We hope that Woody’s leg continues to heal, but we are still prepared to pivot if needed. We are doing everything we can to help Woody mend from this injury, and we will continue to update you on her progress.
