We are one third of the way toward reaching our $29,000 match in recognition of EthanAlmighty Shelter Animal Awareness Month! Please help us reach our goal by midnight on Sunday so we can continue to be here for animals like Kickstand. This one-year-old pup came to the Kentucky Humane Society yesterday from an overcrowded rural shelter and has clearly had a rough start to life! Poor Kickstand is extremely emaciated, heartworm positive and has a deformed right leg. We are determined to turn things around for this incredibly sweet terrier mix to give him his second chance!
We have started Kickstand on a feeding regimen of high-nutrient puppy food and are giving him regular weight checks. He will go into a foster to home to gain weight so that he is strong enough to receive the care he needs. Please keep Kickstand in your thoughts and prayers, and we will keep you updated on his progress. If you’d like to help Kickstand and other shelter animals like him, please consider making a donation today and help us meet the generous $29,000 match from our good friends at the Frazier-Joy Family Foundation so we can continue to be here for shelter animals in need!
