We’re excited to give you an ALL IN update! As construction continues on the new Animal & Community Campus, we’re seeing the impact this project is having on our community in so many ways.
It’s bringing local businesses into the work. Contractors and subcontractors from across our region are helping turn the plans for the new campus into reality, creating jobs and bringing economic investment to the community along the way. From the trades working on-site to the businesses supporting the project, there are many local hands helping build KHS’s future.

It’s creating opportunities to learn and grow. Tanner Book, an intern with Calhoun Construction, has been gaining hands-on experience while working alongside professionals on the project. He’s getting to see the construction process up close, build new skills and learn what it takes to bring a major project from a plan on paper to a place that will serve our community for years to come.

Our new neighbors see the need, too. The City of Lynnview’s council members recently voted to contribute $25,000 to the ALL IN campaign on behalf of the city’s taxpayers. Their investment shows that they see the need for a new campus and believe in the important role it will play in this community. As KHS prepares to call the City of Lynnview home, we’re incredibly grateful to have neighbors who are not only welcoming us but are investing in the future we’re building together.
These are just a few examples of what it means to be ALL IN. This campus is being built by a community that believes in what’s possible when we come together for animals and the people who love them.
